The Janey Glass – Hand-Blown Tasting Glass

Handblown Rocks Glass – Large, Balanced, Ready for Anything
Looking for the perfect glass for a spicy margarita—or a generous pour of anything you love? The Rocks Glass is our largest handblown design, built for bold cocktails, casual beers, or an ice-heavy pour.
With a slim base and wide bowl, it holds more than our Dombey or Janey glasses—making it a go-to for festive pours and summer drinks on the rocks.
Each one is made by hand in New Orleans and shaped to feel light in the hand, but grounded on the table. It’s barware that looks elevated, feels balanced, and holds plenty.

Stamping glass is one of the most challenging techniques to master, as timing, pressure, and temperature must align perfectly within seconds. At Glassblower Ben, we’ve honed this skill over years of experimentation and collaboration with top illustrators, 3D modelers, and precision machinists to transform custom artwork into detailed metal dies. These are used to stamp molten glass, capturing every line, curve, and contour.

Unlike our hand-blown line, this tumbler starts as a precision-made, machine-blown glass. But the magic happens next.
In our New Orleans studio, we heat each glass with a 5,000-degree torch until it glows—then stamp your custom message into the base using a proprietary process we developed over a decade of testing. Your word, initials, or date becomes a part of the glass itself—pressed in while molten, never added later.
This isn’t laser-etched or printed. It’s soul-pressed.
Each one is made to order, carefully inspected, and gift-ready—packaged with a story insert that shares the meaning behind the piece.
